It was cold again at the Speedrome, but some true racers still braved
the elements to work on their cars, including Ron Tiller, who had the first
Legends car on the track. |

Car owner and wrecker operator Jim Olmsted promised to have Late Model
cars for Curtis McMurtrey and R.J. Norton in 2002, and a Supermodified
for son Max. |

The track crew stayed busy on Saturday, getting one of the utility
vehicles ready for a season of hard work. |
 |
Second-generation driver Marshal Emberton Jr., son of a Speedrome hall
of famers, was the first Supermodified driver on the track. |
