0324a023.jpg Jimmy Kirby has worked harder to ger ready for the 2002 Speedrome season than anyone else at the track. He brought a rebuilt and repainted car to the Speedrome with a fresh engine. What did he get for his work? The engine failed after four practice laps and he was out for the day.
0324a111.jpg Rodney Sizemore spent Sunday in Gary Wray's outlaw stock after track officials decided his feature-winning car from the previous weekend hadn't been properly changed to make it comply with the series rules. Sizemore had a decent day in the unfamiliar car, scoring a pair of top five feature finishes.
0324a120.jpg Joe Conklin, the Anderson Speedway racer, finished ahead of Sizemore in both of those main events. What's the secret? Must be the metal cobra head.
0324a122.jpg Roadrunner newcomer Kenny Denny could have used some help from a cobra or whatever, when "it blowed up."
