These are the guys who are In Charge. They're the members of the 2002
Indianapolis Speedrome track crew, and they're ready to take on any challenge
to keep drivers safe and the show moving. |

So, naturally, their first challenge was right in their back yard,
on the exit road from the pits that passes the tech building where the
crew is headquartered. The track crew had to scramble for fire extinguishers
when a Roadrunner caught fire; a few blasts of dry powder took case of
that job. |

Across the track from the tech building is the exit from the pits to
the course, marked by the "76" logo of sponsor C.L. Bryant Racing Fuels. |
