Saturday's Race Photos
Results
from July 5, 2003
A stubborn rain front washed out the Indianapolis Speedrome' s
annual Triple-8 Championship night but not before Scott Tabor
triumphed in the Sunshine Cafe Roadrunners 100-Lap mid-season
championship.
The wild 37-car race saw multiple spins and around-the-track action
with Scott Tabor capturing the Roadrunner 100. Nick Moore was second
with Randy Hutchison, Bill Hasson and Dustin Sapp rounding out the top
five. April/May/June Roadrunner champ Jimmy Hardcastle was out of the
race early with a flat tire as was pre-race favorite Todd Amos. The
Roadrunners kick off a new points chase this Friday.

Rain washed out the remainder of the program including the Muscular
Dystrophy Associations on-track autograph session and the Red Line
Graphics Late Models annual Triple-8 championship. These events plus
the Chuck's Race Car Parts and the Speedrome Hornets and Pepsi Kid's
Bike Races ages 6-7, 8-9 have been re-scheduled for this Saturday,
July 12.
