RED LINE GRAPHICS LATE MODELS
R.J. Norton, Jr., was well on his to securing his first
Speedrome Red Line Graphics Late Model championships by setting
fast time in preparation for the class' One-Hour Figure-8
Endurance Race. The resulting rains wiped out the effort and
postponed the event to Saturday, September 13, after this week's
World Championship Three Hour Figure-8 Endurance Race. Rodney
Sizemore paced the four-lap Hutchison Signs Trophy Dash to start
the evening.

In the only feature race completed
tonight it was Dustin Sapp winning in the rain over a charging
Scott Tabor. Randy Hutchinson, Ricky Martin and Barry Coy rounded
out the top five. Bill Hasson and Shawn Eastridge were tops in the
qualifier.

Rain washed out the feature event for the Chuck's Race Car
Parts Outlaw Stocks. Al Fullenkamp set fast time while Brian
Luttrell and Ed Brickley claimed qualifying races before the
rains came.
